Domestic knitting machinery has always been a weak link in textile machinery, knitting machinery import volume has long ranked the first of all kinds of imported textile machinery. In the first quarter of this year, due to the impact of the financial crisis, the import of all kinds of textile machinery in China showed a downward trend, with the total import decreasing by 61.48% compared with the same period of last year. Although knitting machinery imports also declined, the extent was relatively small, with a year-on-year decrease of 43.86%. The import value still ranked the first place among all imported machinery, accounting for 33.15% of the total imported equipment, an increase over the same period of last year.
